Periods are already annoying enough, so I figured I'd put together some of the little things that make mine a bit easier.
From dealing with cramps to figuring out what to do when you just wanna stay in bed all day, here's a little list of things that might help.
💗 WHEN YOU HAVE CRAMPS
- Put a heating pad on your stomach or lower back.
- Take a hot shower and stay in there for way too long.
- Do a little stretching if you can.
- Get in bed and rest however long you want.
- Take pain medicine for cramps.
🥤 FOOD + WATER
- Keep a water bottle next to you.
- Actually eat something instead of surviving on snacks all day. (Make sure to have enough protein)
- Keep your favorite snacks around.
- Make something warm if you're craving it.
- Don't overthink what you're eating.
💌 MAKE IT EASIER
Keep your period supplies somewhere you can
get to them easily. There's nothing worse than
realizing you're out of everything at the worst
possible time.
👜 WHAT TO KEEP IN YOUR BAG
☐ Pads / tampons / period products

🏠 THINGS TO DO AT HOME

- Wear something comfortable.
- Go to the bathroom when you need to.
- Keep a tiny bag in your backpack with the neccesities.
💗 THINGS THAT CAN HELP
- Take a shower. A warm shower can feel really nice when you're dealing with cramps or just feel gross.
- Get into comfortable clothes. Sweaters, black leggings, anything that isn't so tight.
- Find something to watch. Put on your favorite show, find a movie, or watch something you've already seen a million times.
- Do something easy. Read, play a game, scroll Pinterest, journal, listen to music, or work on a hobby.
- Go to bed early. If you're exhausted, just go to sleep. There's no neeed to push yourself.
